Glee is back, back again. Theirs an incoming reboot, tell a friend. Glee premiered back in 2009 through 2015 ending with 6 seasons in total. Co-created by Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan, and Brad Falchuk. Glee showcased offensive stereotypes, raw humor, disability pride, and characters like Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) being an absolute menace both on and off screen. This show takes being offensive to a whole new level targeting lgbtq+, plus sized people, all races, all cultures, crazy situations, etc.
Now, I’m not sure on the date of the upcoming reboot. But rumors been going around and a lot of the old cast agreed to be on it like Lea Michele who played Rachel Berry on the show along with Cory Monteith (Kurt Hummel), Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams), Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester), Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester), etc.
In the original series it’s your classic will they won’t they, with multiple characters. First starring one of the main characters Will Schuester showing him trying to revive a dead high school club. And trying to revive his dying relationship. Along with trying to get the school athletes involved or interested in Glee. Which to no one surprise they absolutely hated it and made fun of the gleeks for being nerdy and being a lame club.
Glee was just an absolute mess you had cheating from all angles students, friends, teachers, cheating on their partner with their bullies. This one still gets me riled up like Blaine who’s partners with Kurt blamed Kurt for cheating because he was talking to some guy. Made a whole thing about it just to cheat on Kurt with his high school bully who tortured him all throughout high school. And then fake pregnancy Will’s wife faked being pregnant for some reason I completely forgot. Oh and the entirety of Sue shooting cheerleaders through a cannon, putting them on a terrible eating disorder smoothie diet, oh and not to mention trapping Kurt and Blaine in an elevator to get them back together. And Sue becomes a literal Jigsaw to manage that. And oh yeah most of the cast signing Blurred lines. Too many crazy situations. Which will probably be even crazier in the reboot.
The reboot will definitely contain some songs from Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, Malcom Todd, Chappell Roan, etc. I’m assuming a lot of pop songs, edgy rock songs or ballads, and definitely gen alpha humor. I promise you theirs gonna be some cringey skibidi rizz scene or Will Schuester trying to do some TikTok dance and failing miserably. The reboot according to the writers have already written the script and that was in a few to several weeks ago. So it might be coming soon who knows.
